You will be working closely with customers to develop and implement personalized plans that cater to their unique needs and goals. This role requires flexibility, patience, and empathy as you work to create a safe and supportive environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration, and attending appointments
* Joining customers in recreational activities such as swimming, dancing, bingo, horseback riding, going to the gym, bowling, and more
* Ensuring positive behavior support plans are followed and ensuring customer safety and well-being at all times
Requirements:
You must be qualified in Cert III in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021) and have previous experience in a similar role. A valid driver's license and willingness to use your private vehicle are also required. Additionally, you will need to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Clearance, and complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
