Assistant Account Executive / Broker Assistant
Ready to take the next step in your insurance career? We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven Assistant Account Executive to join our friendly and experienced team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our Senior Account Managers and Claims Manager, playing a key role in keeping policies, claims, and client service running smoothly.
The Role
You'll support broking operations and manage claims administration, acting as a key point of contact for clients and insurers.
Your day-to-day will include:
· Supporting Senior Brokers with new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
· Working directly with insurers, underwriters, clients, adjusters, and external providers
· Answering calls, gathering risk information, and delivering outstanding customer service
· Assisting with quotations, renewals, debtor management, and monthly workflows
· Supporting new business leads and marketing initiatives.
· Assisting the Director with lead generation and quoting new business.
· Assisting with insurance claims from lodgement to finalisation. Ensuring timely processing including follow-ups and stakeholder communication

About You
· Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail
· At least 12 months' experience in a similar insurance role
· Confident communicator, both written and verbal
· Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
· Proactive, reliable, and a true team player
· Tier 1 or 2 qualification is preferred (or working towards)
