DBI is a multi-disciplinary design firm specialising in Interior Design, Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
We are seeking an Interior Designer with 4+ years' experience to work on a range of exciting large scale residential as well as hospitality projects out of our Gold Coast Studio.
With an immediate start, we are looking for a talented and design focused candidate for this appointment:
The Role
Participate in all stages of the project from Concept Design to Construction Documentation as well as Construction Services, in a team environment.
Interface and communicate with clients and consultants.
Interpret client briefs and prepare inspiring design outcomes.
Collaborate with all design disciplines within our practice.
Communicate effectively at all levels with other personnel within the studio.
Skills and Experience
4+ years of interior design experience in high rise residential and hospitality sectors.
Revit and / or AutoCAD.
Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
Building technology, fabrication techniques and materials used in medium to large scale projects.
To be successful in this role you must be a collaborative and motivated person, demonstrating the following qualities:
Recognised academic (Bachelor Degree) qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
Excellent visual and interpersonal communications skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload.
Ability to work to deadlines.
This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm in our Gold Coast Studio.
