Description The ROLE Preventive maintenance & repairs to internal / external assets which includes servicing and breakdowns. Troubleshooting and diagnosing of mechanical problems and testing of completed repairs. Working unsupervised and as part of a small team collaborating with other Tradespeople. Ability to complete accurate details on job sheets, timesheets and any other service requirements. Provide outstanding customer service and technical support on-site. Support the workshop team during downtime or as needed. Participation in an on-call rotating roster is required. Assisting with on-the-job training for our apprentices. About YOU Current Driver's Licence. Trade Qualified as either a Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic. Have a strong background servicing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and or heavy machinery. Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills. Show a strong work ethic & high attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders. Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
