Job Description
As
Copywriter
, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the way BCNA's story is told - crafting content that informs, inspires, and drives action. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll create compelling copy across digital and print channels - from website pages, eDMs, and social campaigns to fundraising appeals, impact stories, and advocacy communications.
You'll work closely with Fundraising, Policy and Advocacy, and Digital teams to ensure their words have real impact, whether that's raising awareness, increasing service uptake, or inspiring support. You'll also contribute to editorial planning, test and optimise content, and use insights to continuously refine how we connect with their audiences.
Responsibilities
Create engaging copy for multiple channels (digital, print, social, campaigns)
Turn complex information into clear, human, compelling stories for diverse audiences and formats
Develop SEO and web-writing expertise
Juggle multiple projects and stakeholders with ease
Collaborate with teams to ensure words have real impact
Requirements
Proven experience creating engaging copy for multiple channels
Ability to turn complex information into clear, human, compelling stories
SEO and web-writing expertise
An eye for detail and a strong grasp of brand voice, and storytelling
Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field

You're a writer who knows how to make words work hard. You bring a proactive, creative mindset, and confidence to work with autonomy. You have strong collaboration skills and enjoyment working in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
