What Your Day Will Look Like….
Working within the Adult Community Mental Health team in Toowoomba, you'll engage closely with consumers, families and a committed multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, recovery‑focused care. You'll undertake comprehensive assessments, develop and review care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that align with the Mental Health Act 2016 and National Mental Health Standards. Your day will involve meaningful clinical conversations, thoughtful decision‑making, and the opportunity to role‑model best practice in complex community settings.
You'll collaborate with peers to maintain a positive practice environment, contribute to quality and safety activities, and support system improvements that enhance service delivery. Whether you're guiding staff, supporting students, or participating in clinical audits and research initiatives, you'll make a genuine impact—both in the lives of consumers and across the broader Darling Downs mental health service.
