Ready to lead from the front? Golden State Distribution is looking for a driven and aspirational Supervisor to take charge of our nightly depot operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll supervise and work alongside your team to ensure dairy orders for our key customer, Brownes Dairy, are picked, packed, and loaded accurately — every single night. This is a hands‐on role where your energy sets the tone for the whole shift and the team.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Shifts start at 4pm and usually end by 11:30pm, Sunday to Friday.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supervise and actively participate in order picking, packing, and truck loading — you're not just watching, you're doing.
Lead, motivate, and develop your team so everyone is performing at their best.
Monitor productivity and service levels, and step in with smart solutions when the workflow needs a boost.
Train new team members and ensure everyone follows company policies and safety procedures.
Liaise with Brownes Dairy and internal departments to quickly resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
Safely back trucks into the loading dock and support driving duties on site as required.
Keep accurate records and report on team performance, manifests and nightly distribution activity.
Champion a safe, compliant, and continuously improving work environment.
Scheduling the team in advance.
MUST HAVE
Proven supervisory or team leader experience in a fast‐paced warehouse or cold storage environment.
Strong organisational skills — you can juggle priorities without dropping the ball.
A natural communicator who can motivate a team.
Keen attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Available Sunday to Friday from 4:00pm.
Manual driver's licence & access to a car.
Ability to lift 20kg safely.
NICE TO HAVE
Background in cold storage or food logistics.
Experience driving manual vehicles.
Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products.
