Additional Information:
• This role is permanent, full time 76 hours per/fortnight
• The regular working hours of this role are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm. Some flexibility to work weekend/peak days on occasion is required in line with business needs.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
As Visual Merchandising/Activity Co-worker your responsibilities will include:
• Demonstrating the uniqueness of the IKEA product range, using visual merchandising to tell compelling stories that inspire and engage customers, and encourage them to visit the IKEA store more often.
• Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
• Providing home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people's life at home.
• Planning and implementing range presentation solutions aligned with the IKEA brand identity, tailoring globally prescribed packages to reflect local market needs, seasonal trends, and customer insights.
• Designing and optimising store layouts to create a seamless and intuitive customer journey, balancing commercial priorities, operational efficiency, customer convenience, and inspiration.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders across departments to ensure that range presentation and layout solutions are commercially effective.
As Visual Merchandising/Activity Co-worker you are:
• A tertiary qualification or relevant working experience in visual merchandising, preferably within home furnishing, and proficiency in Revit/Sketch Up is required for this role.
• Passionate about implementing your designs from a sketch into a highly commercial reality.
• A practical and hands-on person with proven time management skills and ability to be effective in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented, consistently seeking opportunities to improve and grow.
• Adaptable and open to change, thriving in a dynamic retail environment and seeing change as an opportunity to innovate and create value.
• Curious and driven to understand home furnishing and people's everyday life at home, applying core visual merchandising principles.
• A natural collaborator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and capable of engaging & effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working at heights, with strong commitment to safety.
