Job DescriptionMultiple positions available: Chef, Cook and Kitchen HandWhat you'll do:Working in our Resort bistro, you'll support the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality meals by providing either cooking or non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area.
On a daily basis you will:Under the direction of the Head Chef, undertake cooking duties to a consistently high standard.Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or food preparation area and sculleryCleaning of cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen and restaurantAssist colleagues who are cooking including assembling and preparing ingredientWhat you'll bring:A good attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy teamGenuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produceDemonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skillsAn ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPossess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completionDemonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations.A genuine passion for your craft, with the ability to create and present contemporary dishes (Chef)Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team and engage with colleagues.Formal qualifications in commercial cookery (Chef)Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidaysWhat's in it for you?
