About the Company A leading Australian organisation requires a Senior Financial Accountant on a contract basis to assist with key Financial deliverables in the Sydney Offices. About the Role Deliver accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial reporting processes. Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, inter-entity transactions and standing journals. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure supporting documentation remains accurate, current and audit-ready Prepare and lodge statutory returns including BAS, IAS, FBT and other taxation obligations Maintain lease accounting schedules in accordance with AASB 16 requirements. Manage investment accounting entries including distributions, amortisation and mark-to-market adjustments. Provide analysis and commentary on budget versus actual results and key financial trends. Coordinate audit preparation activities and act as a secondary contact for external auditors. About You CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) 3-6 years' experience in financial accounting, audit, or commercial finance Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central advantageous or similar ERP systems Experience working in a multi-entity, not-for-profit or complex organisational environment is highly regarded. Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, GST and taxation obligations Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
