Role Description
This is a rare opportunity to join Peach as our sole Estimator – a role that sits at the heart of how we win work.
You'll own the tender process from initial review through to handover with support from a dedicated Bid Coordinator.
That means completing take‐offs and building up preliminaries pricing, contributing to construction methodology, obtaining the best subcontractor coverage you can get, and ensuring a clean handover to our procurement and delivery teams.
We need an estimator who can draw on their subcontractor relationships and understands the job from services through to finishes.
Peach is heading into its biggest year yet with a strong pipeline across new build, refurbishment and fit‐out in the commercial, healthcare, education and community sectors.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
* A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years' estimating or cost planning experience in commercial construction, ideally across fit‐out, refurbishment and/or new build projects.
* The ability to run tenders end‐to‐end – full take‐off, subcontractor analysis, prelims, tender forms and submission.
* Experience sourcing and reviewing subcontractor quotations, identifying scope gaps and driving competitive coverage.
* Confidence preparing construction methodology and preliminary programs for tender submissions.
* Experience across both D&C and construct‐only tendering is well regarded.
* Familiarity with value management and risk identification during tender stage is a plus.
* Proficiency in estimating software – we use Cubit, EstimateOne along with Procore and Excel.
* Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar PDF markup tools is a plus.
* Some on‐site or delivery experience is valued – it makes for a better estimator.
* A proactive communication style, strong attention to detail, and a sense of ownership aligned with Peach's values.
Equal Opportunity Statement
Peach is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and members of the LGBTIQ+ community. We believe everyone deserves to see themselves represented in the construction industry.
