About the Role
Our organization is seeking a skilled IT Service Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the first point of contact for end-users, providing support and solutions to a wide range of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Procurement and Administrative Support:
o Purchase and manage IT equipment and consumables, ensuring timely receipt and distribution.
o Liaise with suppliers to efficiently fulfill purchase requests.
o Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock movements and generating regular reports.
* IT Support and Service Delivery:
o Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, chats, and portal requests, providing high-quality service to users.
o Triage, categorize, prioritize, and log tickets into the ITSM system, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
o Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, network, and VPN issues within established SLAs, escalating complex problems as needed.
o Manage the IT phone system, ensuring all incoming calls are answered and inquiries logged in a timely manner.
* Data Quality and Integrity:
o Ensure accurate data entry into the ITSM system, maintaining high standards of data quality for reporting purposes.
o Demonstrate understanding and commitment to collecting and using high-quality data.
o Maintain accurate records of clinical and administrative data, entering information into systems to ensure quality and integrity.
o Comply with individual logon requirements and other data security measures necessary for information systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in administrative support, preferably within an IT setting (healthcare experience a plus).
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including desktop applications, networking, peripherals (printers, phones), and common IT tools.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, adept at handling high volumes of diverse user calls.
* Able to multitask effectively during peak ticket demand, such as new rollouts or system updates.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong customer orientation and sensitivity to confidentiality, particularly in clinical/healthcare environments.
