About The Role:

* This is a permanent full-time position in the Tourism team, based at Moruya.

* The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the tourism team to deliver on key priorities of the Eurobodalla Destination Action Plan and other key strategies related to the visitor economy.

* You will provide leadership to develop strategic plans and implement marketing strategies for tourist destinations.
">
* Engage with a range of tourism stakeholders across local, regional, and state levels to develop and implement destination marketing.
">
* Build destination and/or consumer-facing brands.
">
* Develop and implement visitor information services, incorporating best practice and contemporary methods.
">
* Design digital marketing and social media planning for tourism, particularly at a strategic and leadership level, involving domestic and international markets.

About You:
">
">
1. You hold relevant tertiary qualifications with demonstrated 5 years' experience at a senior level in successfully developing strategic plans and implementing marketing strategies for tourist destinations.
">
2. Your application will demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
">

* Proven success in using negotiation and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
">
* Proven experience and understanding of building destination and/or consumer-facing brands.
">
* Proven experience and understanding of tourism industry development and engagement.
">
* Proven experience in visitor information services – particularly at a strategic and leadership level – incorporating best practice and contemporary methods.
">
* In-depth knowledge and specialist expertise of digital marketing and social media planning for tourism – particularly at a strategic and leadership level – involving both domestic and international markets.
