Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee building and civil construction projects in Mackay and Bowen Basin, QLD. This is an on-site, contract role that involves managing daily operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating site teams, liaising with stakeholders, monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimising workflows. The role requires proactive problem‐solving and effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in building and civil construction management, including project planning and execution
* Strong skills in team coordination, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication
* Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards, compliance documentation, and operational protocols in the construction industry
* Proficiency in conducting financial forecasting, managing budgets, and ensuring cost efficiency
* Highly regarded skills in problem‐solving, decision‐making, and adaptability within dynamic project environments
* Familiarity with Mackay and Bowen Basin construction and mining sectors will be considered an advantage
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
