Your new role
The Quality and Risk Manager is responsible for ensuring the organisation has the necessary organisational systems and processes in place to meet the quality and safeguarding standards required by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the Disability Services Act, as well as achieve ongoing NDIS accreditation. A solid knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to:
* Lead and implement safeguarding, risk, and quality frameworks across the organisation.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding issues, ensuring compliance with sector standards.
* Develop and deliver training to enhance best practices in risk and quality management.
* Conduct audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
* Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring policies are aligned with best practice.
* Other duties as negotiated with the CEO.
Plus, relevant tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Disability or Community Services, Project Management, Work Health and Safety, Risk Management or similar, supported by a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
