About the role
We are seeking an outstanding, suitably qualified and experienced primary classroom teacher to join our dynamic and dedicated Junior School team. The Junior School Classroom Teacher is responsible for the effective delivery of teaching programs and will work closely with the Head of Junior School and Deputy Head of Junior School to ensure a holistic approach is taken to the curriculum. In addition to specified teaching duties, all classroom-based teachers are expected to provide pastoral support to the students and to be actively involved in curriculum development.
This position is full-time and fixed term for Semester 2, 2026.

* Current VIT registration.
* Current curriculum knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those requiring additional support, enrichment, and/or extension.
* Demonstrated understanding of the need to address the academic, social and emotional needs of the students.
* Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
