Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager provides operational leadership at the Ravenhall Branch – VIC. The role requires a passion for building a customer‐focused team, a proactive mindset, and active involvement in all aspects of branch operations. It is not a role for people who prefer managing from a computer in an office.
Duties
* Managing day‐to‐day operations so the Branch Manager can focus on business growth
* Coaching the team to deliver exceptional customer service and build profitable relationships
* Overseeing branch operations procedures to ensure consistency, cost effectiveness, and practical outcomes; implementing continuous improvements and efficiencies
* Running and analysing daily reports and working with the team to action follow‐up tasks
* Supporting the Branch Manager with staff training and development
* Ensuring compliance with company standards
Qualifications
Electrical wholesale experience.
* Ability to build long‐term relationships with customers
* Prior experience in a high‐volume, regular loyal customer contact role
* Successful and proven leadership skills
* Ability to coach and influence team members in day‐to‐day operations
* Ability to introduce and implement policies and procedures to meet high customer service standards
* Strong task‐completion mindset, working with the team to achieve excellence
* Ability to make sound business decisions and resolve problems
