IDEAL Plan Management is a division of Nexia Canberra Chartered Accountants and provides financial administration services for participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Due to an exciting time of growth, we are seeking suitably qualified Graduate Finance Officers to join our remote team on a full-time or part-time basis. Utilising your accounting background within this diverse role, you will build on your tertiary qualifications, knowledge and experience working across creditors, and general finance administration in the disability sector.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the financial function across the division. You will be a highly motivated individual with a proven record of achievements, enabling you to learn quickly within a fast paced and service-oriented environment.

Joining our team of dedicated professionals, you will be contributing to the effective delivery of finance, data administration and customer service, ensuring high-quality support is provided in a timely manner and compliant with relevant standards and legislation.

It is essential for you to have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills working with various members of the team and liaising with external stakeholders.

**POSITION PROFILE**
- Provide timely and accurate payments to service providers and clients.
- Investigate and resolve customer enquiries ensuring that information provided is accurate and in accordance with APES, NDIS Terms of Business, QSC and other federal and state/territory policies in relation to the provision of plan management services.
- Assist the finance team in lodging claims to NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency).
- Reconcile payments to service providers and clients.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, support coordinators, service providers and NDIA.
- Other general administrative tasks as required including accurately maintaining database records and other duties to support the operations of the NDIS Ideal Plan Management team.

**Skills & Experience Requirements**
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field desirable.
- Positive team player attitude with a customer-centric focus.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational, time management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple tasks.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel will be highly desirable.
