The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) seeks talented APS professionals with diverse skills for its Section 26 Transfer Register. This register is open to ongoing APS employees interested in ongoing or temporary transfers under section 26 of the Public Service Act 1999.
The ANAO facilitates access to suitable candidates for high-priority projects and offers development opportunities across the agency. Opportunities vary across classification levels, including APS Level 4 to SES Band 2 positions. Interested ongoing APS candidates can register their interest for permanent or temporary transfer opportunities. When vacancies arise, applications are matched with available positions, and suitable candidates are contacted for further discussion.

The Transfer Register may source candidates for the following groups:
* Corporate Management Group: Strategic leadership and operations management.
* Financial Statement Audit Services Group: Conducting financial audits of government entities.
* Performance Statement Audit Services Group: Enhancing transparency and quality of performance reporting.
* Performance Audit Services Group: Providing assurance on resource management and promoting better practices.
* Professional Services Group: Offering expert advice on audit topics and supporting the executive.
* Systems Assurance and Data Analytics Group: IT support, data analysis, and system management.
Eligibility and Requirements
Open to ongoing APS employees interested in transfer opportunities under section 26. Applicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. Positions are based in Canberra, with support for relocation and initial accommodation.
