We are seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join our Commercial Litigation and Class Actions team in Melbourne or Sydney working nationally with Richard Leder, Georgie Austin and Amanda Beattie.
The primary focus of this role will be acting for major institutions - including religious organisations and government bodies - on complex and high-stakes matters involving historical abuse and personal injury.
In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to develop across the wider practice, working with market-leading lawyers on:
- Royal Commissions and public inquiries into issues of national significance
- Large‑scale, multi‑jurisdictional class actions involving corporates and government agencies
- Defamation and media law, representing leading outlets such as Channel 7 and The Conversation Media Group
- Strategic litigation avoidance and risk management for large corporates
- Sports law matters, including governance and integrity work for high‑profile organisations like the AFL
