Senior Asset Accountant Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Asset Accountant.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and ongoing maintenance of our asset accounting framework, which underpins financial reporting, asset management practices, and organisational objectives.
* Participate in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with relevant legislation and standards. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
* Provide leadership to the Asset Accounting Team in delivering high-quality financial asset information.
* Develop, implement, and maintain asset accounting policies, processes, and systems in accordance with statutory requirements, best practice, and contemporary asset management principles.
* Offer professional accounting advice and policy guidance to key business areas within the organisation to support corporate objectives, strategic asset management planning, systems, and reporting.
* Support our annual asset revaluation process, including tendering, liaising with external valuers, validating data, financial analysis, and conducting the review of asset values with key stakeholders.
