About the Role
You will utilize your experience in software packages such as R, Stata and Python to work with large datasets and conduct research and analysis to support the development of reports and policy settings.
As our new analyst in the Economics and Analysis branch, you will have a solid grounding in appropriate statistical techniques to analyze data with the ability to convey technical concepts to a variety of audiences, ensuring they understand the message.
We're Looking For
* Economic Research and Analytical Skills: Strong capability in conducting economic research and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data to inform policy and program development.
* Technical Proficiency in Analytical Tools: Experience using statistical software such as R, Stata, or Python for data analysis and research projects.
* Effective Communication and Reporting: Ability to prepare high-quality reports, policy briefs, and correspondence that clearly communicate research findings and policy implications to senior stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Skilled in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, building effective relationships, and facilitating cross-agency collaboration to support research and policy outcomes.
* Project and Policy Support: Demonstrated ability to support technical projects and policy initiatives, working collaboratively with internal teams and delivering work to agreed timelines.
