This area is currently seeking multiple APS6 Ministerial Correspondence Officers to join their dynamic team.
**Your new role**
This exciting team that you will be joining will be responsible for supporting a busy area that are responsible for numerous activities. This involves full case management processes as well as operational support for the cases. This can vary from compliance activities to business coordination. In this role you will be primarily responsible for drafting ministerial and secretary correspondence. Most of work will include:
- Liaising with stakeholders across the department to investigate, monitor and provide advice on a range of sensitive and complex cases which have been escalated
- Draft Ministerial and Secretary Correspondence
- Ad hoc work as directed to support the business of the division
As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Your passion for writing will see you set yourself apart from the crowd for this role. Your previous experience in ministerial and secretary correspondence will have given you the skills to succeed in this position and support the department in the best way possible. To succeed further in this role you will show:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to gather and interpret complex information in order to provide advice
- Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
