We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. Due to sustained growth and forward succession planning, they're seeking an Associate Engineer to join their Civil team in Melbourne.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Group Director, you will:
Lead medium to large-scale civil projects from concept to completion
Manage project budgets, resourcing and delivery outcomes
Prepare fee proposals, tenders and technical documentation
Oversee and mentor engineers, drafters and graduates
Build and strengthen client relationships
Contribute to discipline strategy and business growth
Ensure quality, compliance and commercial performance
You'll have autonomy, accountability and real input into the direction of the team.
About You
You will likely have:
8+ years' engineering experience within a consulting environment
Chartered status (CPEng) and Engineers Australia membership
Strong design and project management capability
Experience managing clients and project financials
A proactive leadership style and mentoring mindset
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
