About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Fiber Optic Gyroscope technology advancement. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of FOG physics, operational principles, and constituent components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop high-performance FOG systems for reliability and manufacturability.
* Develop manufacturing processes for FOGs, focusing on scalability to large production volumes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration.
* Analyse test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance FOG performance and reliability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FOG technology, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in Fiber Optic Gyroscopes.
* Theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect.
* In-depth knowledge of photonics, electro-optical systems design, and integration.
* Experience with manufacturing processes for optical or precision electro-mechanical systems.
