Our main objective is to provide and manage secure, sustainable housing for people on low to moderate incomes who would otherwise struggle to find accommodation and for disadvantaged people who need support in order to maintain independent living.

About you

We are looking for someone who can strategically lead and manage the delivery of critical ICT service management and delivery programs, function and services at Argyle Housing. By implementing the organisation's Technology Strategy, and managing various projects that strengthen the organisation's enterprise architecture and support the efficiency and performance of the organisation. Importantly the ICT Manager will reflect the values that Argyle Housing places on its people, teamwork, and commitment to superior customer service.

**Description**:
Primary Purpose

The Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Manager is responsible for aligning the IT strategy, partnership with the Executive Team, to organisational goals, ensuring the security, efficiency, and productivity of Argyle Housing's ICT systems and processes.

This role will manage IT and IS Support Officers, external IT vendors and providers, and any project staff that may be allocated to the IT team and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive the successful implementation and maintenance of technology solutions.

All roles within Argyle Housing are to be performed under the principle of "One Argyle" and with a commitment to client service delivery fostering the approach of 'no wrong door'.

**This role will be responsible for, but not limited to**:
ICT Strategy and Implementation

In partnership with the Executive Team and CFO, develop and implement ICT strategy in alignment with Argyle Housing's overall goals and operational objectives
Managing implementation of ICT initiatives from yearly Operational Plans
Ensure technology investments are cost effective and align with budget constraints

Service Delivery

Ensuring that all IT systems are fully utilised and operating optimally for Operations to maintain high standards of client service delivery
Ensuring ICT assets are fit-for-purpose and enables service delivery
Providing escalation support for technical issues
Collaborate with all departments to identify and address technology needs
Liaise with all end users when required, providing an escalation point for ICT issues
Managing vendor relationships for ICT, ensuring their efficient service within SLAs.
Negotiate and review vendor contracts to ensure they meet the needs of the business and budgetary requirements

Cyber Security

Ensuring security of all Argyle Housing ICT systems
Implementing cyber security measures and conducting regular audits
Maintaining an up-to-date disaster recovery plan
Working closely with Risk staff to ensure ICT risks are captured and addressed
Working closely with the BCP committee to ensure cybersecurity measures are considered and recovery plans are achievable and in place.

Budget and ICT Asset Management

Adhering to allocated budget for IT equipment and services
Conducting regular audits on ICT assets such as phones, tablets, and laptops
Balancing the need for prudent and ethical purchasing of ICT assets with service delivery requirements

People Management

Managing 2 Helpdesk / IT Support Officers
Providing technical experience to ICT team
Managing the teams' priorities, day-to-day tasks, engagement levels and resourcing

Projects

Digital Transformation - participation in the Argyle Housing Digital Transformation project/s. Leading projects within the program of work as directed or as required.
Continuous Improvements - finding opportunities to improve ICT services and Argyle Housing technology and processes, scoping and implementing improvement projects as required

Other

Stay up to date with best practice ICT systems, methods, equipment and
Getting to know the community housing sector, building a network to gain knowledge of usual and best practice specific to CHPs (participating in industry conferences and communities of practice)

**Skills and Experiences**:
Selection Criteria/Essential Skills - To ensure success in this position, you must have:
10+ years' experience in IT, with at least 2 years team management experience
Tertiary qualification in IT
Experience developing IT Strategy in line with organisational goals
Extensive experience in implementing IT strategy, following through on high priority projects and/or tasks to completion
Experience in the Not-For-Profit (For Purpose) sector is ideal, community housing sector a bonus
