Job Title: Practice Manager

* Lead a high performing practice team by coaching, developing and mentoring staff members.
* Contribute to the overall financial performance of the practice by implementing effective strategies and practices.
* Maintain strict standards of sterilisation, infection control and stock management.
* Patient management includes greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making and confirming appointments, checking and processing customer accounts.
* General administration duties include processing payments using EFTPOS and HiCaps, as well as proactively marketing the practice to drive patient numbers.
* Effectively manage the recruitment and selection process for all practice staff.
Requirements:
* Dental experience is desirable but not essential.
* Prior business and people management experience is required.
* Strong organisational skills, administrative and time management skills are essential.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen are necessary.
* The ability to understand how to generate income and control costs is crucial.
* The candidate must be able to handle difficult conversations and deal promptly with issues when they arise.
* They should be comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients and their practice team.
* Experience in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice is necessary.
