Super Sweet Café is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our busy and friendly kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food.
About the Role
As a Full-Time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining excellent food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with café standards
* Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation consistently meet expectations
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety regulations
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as required
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
* Adapt dishes to meet dietary requirements and customer preferences
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A genuine passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes
* Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management
* Weekend availability is required
