The Role
We're looking for a hands-on, highly organised Shed Supervisor to take charge of our Parkes facility. If you thrive in a fast paced environment, enjoy working with equipment, and love keeping things running smoothly — this role is for you
The Shed Supervisor will work with the General Manager to ensure our facility operates efficiently and is kept to a high standard, focusing on organisation and maintenance of equipment, fleet and machinery. This role is also responsible for assisting our beekeeping team with daily beekeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating inward and outwards goods, and upholding a clean and safe work environment compliant with WHS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean and well-organised interior and exterior facility;
* Ensure equipment is sorted, labelled, and located in its designated area to maximise efficiency for the beekeeping team, and for stocktake purposes;
* Ensure adequate stock on hand including spares for maintenance of equipment, vehicle, and trailers;
* Maintain an accurate record of all beekeeping equipment and facility inventory;
* Manage all inward and outward goods (e.g., beekeeping equipment and deliveries);
* Maintain the servicing and maintenance of all operational and beekeeping equipment and hand and power tools;
* Maintain the vehicle fleet according to Fleet Management Program;
* Conduct vehicle/trailer/equipment maintenance checks as required;
* Assist the GM and beekeeping team with on field activities, season start up, and winter shut down tasks when required;
* Maintain the Risk Register and Safety Data Sheet at all times; and
* Report on non-compliance and take appropriate action if potential WHS hazards are identified.
About You
* Previous maintenance experience;
* Mechanical experience preferred but not essential;
* Sound understanding of warehouse/shed coordination;
* A proactive, can-do attitude;
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills;
* Current forklift license; and
* HC license preferred but not essential.
