Overview
Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in Southeast Queensland (SEQ). These awards bring a secure 10-year pipeline of work, with AECOM's flexibility you can base yourself in our Sunshine Coast or Brisbane offices.
How you'll make a difference
* Lead the design on various water infrastructure projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
* Coordinate, manage and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
* Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications & RPEQ / CPEng.
* Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
* Experience in leading project / technical teams.
* An interest in mentoring, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
* Passion for delivering high quality work & excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
