Job Description:
Monash University is seeking postgraduate research students (Honours, Masters thesis, or PhD level) to collaborate on three projects in the field of quantum-safe security technologies and innovative industry applications of quantum computing.
The program aims to address challenges in developing novel quantum-safe cryptography technologies to protect online systems from quantum computer attacks. This will promote the adoption of quantum-enhanced cybersecurity, AI, optimization, and simulation algorithms across Australian industries, aligning with the Digital Economy strategy.
The successful applicants will work closely with our industry partner Senetas, a global cybersecurity leader based in Melbourne, Australia. Senetas's hardware and software products safeguard data for commercial, government, defense, and critical infrastructure sectors in over 40 countries.
