Financial Analyst (FP&A) Location: North Ryde Work Type: Contract | Full-time Key Highlights 12-month contract opportunity within a high-performing FP&A team - Circa $110,000 - $125,000 Super - Immediate start with strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis About the Role Our client is seeking a commercially minded and analytical Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join their finance team based in North Ryde on a contract basis. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis across the business. You will work closely with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. This position offers exposure to core planning cycles, business partnering and financial modelling in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes - Prepare monthly management reporting and variance analysis - Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions - Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends and risks - Partner with department leaders to provide performance insights - Assist with board and executive reporting packs - Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline - CA/CPA qualified or studying (preferred) - 3-6 years' experience in FP&A, financial analysis or commercial finance - Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills - Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders Benefits Competitive contract rate ($110,000 - $125,000 Super) - Hybrid working arrangements - Exposure to senior stakeholders and commercial decision-making - Supportive and collaborative finance team - Opportunity to gain experience within a well-established organisation About the Company Our client is a well-established organisation based in with a strong focus on performance, continuous improvement and commercial growth.
