Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) Program Clinician Full Time Part Time Applications for 0.8 FTE will be accepted This role is classified as an RPN3, SW2, OT2 or Psych2 in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement. The Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, part of Mildura Base Public Hospital, offers inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region.

About the Role: The HOPE Program provides assertive, integrated aftercare for consumers experiencing a suicidal crisis. Using various therapeutic approaches, HOPE clinicians work with consumers to identify and build coping strategies to reduce suicidality risk. They collaborate with Wellbeing Support Workers to address psychosocial needs.
The role is rostered during business hours, Monday to Friday. Full-time and/or part-time (0.8 FTE) applications are welcome.
About You: Applicants should be experienced Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, or Psychologists eligible for registration with the appropriate body.
Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in assessment, safety planning, treatment and support planning, and therapeutic interventions for consumers experiencing suicidality.
Up to $10,000 incentive payment available for eligible candidates, covering rent, childcare, school fees, relocation, and more. The Victorian Government provides these incentives to attract workers to rural and regional mental health roles. Eligibility criteria apply.
