Cone penetration testing is a crucial aspect of geotechnical analysis, involving the use of specialized equipment to gather data on soil properties. As a cone penetration test operator, you will be responsible for conducting tests in various locations throughout Australia.
Black Insitu Testing is seeking an individual with expertise in operating truck and track-based test rigs to perform cone penetration tests and other specialized geotechnical assessments. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The role involves attending site pre-start meetings, preparing job safety analyses (JSAs), and maintaining equipment. You will also be required to communicate effectively with clients' site engineers and ensure data accuracy through regular backups.
