Our growing Agribusiness located in Somerville on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced and committed Sales Coordinator to join the Hussey & Co team on a 9-month maternity leave contract, commencing July 2026, with a possibility of extension.

The right candidate will have a strong sales and administration background and be multi skilled in a sales environment.

Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, you will be an integral part of the sales department providing a range of sales and administration support to the business and our customers.

Contract term: 9-month fixed term contract commencing July 2026 with possibility of extension

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm (7:30am-12:30pm / 25 hours per week whilst training) Some weekend work will be required.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 Pro rata

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with our sales team to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with agreed requirements and specifications.

* Day to day management of customer orders which includes order taking and order entry.

* Take ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolution.

* Finger on the pulse regarding quality of supply to customers.

* Implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets and market dominance.

* Assist the Sales Team to achieve budgeted revenue and margin targets.

* Assist with forecasting, sales planning and reporting, all delivered at a high level.

* Lead product innovation in alignment with operations and supply functions.

* Market visits, store visits and customer visits to gain understanding of customer and consumer requirements.

To be successful for this role you will have the following skills/experience:

* Experience working in sales / account management.

* Fresh Produce / Leafy Greens experience and knowledge would be a high advantage.

* Refined and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

* Proven successes with building/maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders

* Advanced MS Office suite experience

* Personal drive and results driven

* High attention to detail

* Passionate & enthusiastic

* Ability to engage and influence others
