About the role
Central Coast Logistics is seeking multiple experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Mackay, QLD. This full-time role will see you working on maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy vehicles, ensuring they remain in top operating condition.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of heavy vehicles, including trucks, prime movers and trailers
* Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
* Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with safety regulations
* Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to optimise fleet availability
* Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics or a similar discipline
* Experience working as a diesel mechanic, preferably on heavy vehicles
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Current driver's licence (Desirable HR to MC Licence)
