About Us:
Staged By Flynn is a busy, boutique property styling business, specialising in contemporary styling with a twist. We are well known in the industry for high quality styling. We are looking at expansion into different interior design fields in the next 1-3 years, so we're a business with future opportunities aside from kick-ass property styling.
Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Property Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and/or home staging, with excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. We are potentially looking for someone to lead a team, and work closely with all staff. We will train the right candidate to lead a team of amazing stylists.
As a Property Stylist, you will prepare properties for sale by selecting and arranging furniture, making beds, choosing decor and accessories to create inviting and visually appealing spaces.
You can choose between part-time (Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm), or Full time (Mon-Friday, 8-4pm).
Responsibilities:
* Picking and packing for upcoming styling jobs
* Plan and execute property staging projects (this involves working with/potentially managing a team to choose furniture, bedding, decor, art etc, determining the layout, all the way through to finalising the styling).
* Lead or help with on-site installation and arrangement of furniture and decor (you will work with Removalists, but there is lifting required, and occasional furniture rearranging)
* Quotes and consults
* Steaming beds, wiping down furniture, vacuuming, light cleaning as required
* Drive to the warehouse or the shops for last minute pieces
* Follow styling trends and industry best practices to deliver high-quality results
Requirements:
* Maturity but fun, can-do attitude. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take the work extremely seriously
* Previous experience with property styling or interior design is highly desirable but we are happy to train the right candidate
* A license (access to a car is useful, as although we have work vehicles, we start early and are located in Fyshwick, so buses are tough)
* good team player with excellent management skills
* Strong creativity and attention to detail
* Excellent initiative, communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
* Knowledge of current design trends and styles
Benefits:
* Competitive salary
* Working with a brilliant, hard-working and fun team
* Collaborative and dynamic work environment
If you are a friendly, passionate and creative individual with a flair for interior design, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and contribute to creating beautiful and inspiring spaces for our clients.
