Supply chain manager - logistics specialist

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all issues, receipts, transfers, and disposals of property in accordance with approved property accountability procedures. This includes ensuring that material and equipment are catalogued to a standard nomenclature in automated Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) to enhance tracking, reordering, and excess identification processes.

You will also conduct weekly stock reviews to ensure accuracy of inventory records and that stock items are serviceable. Additionally, you will create and maintain a Critical Spares Inventory of parts essential to mission activities and stock items accordingly.

This role requires a strong background in planning, organizing, and managing the flow of goods and materials. You must have expertise in coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and optimizing transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries and efficient use of resources.

A proactive and organized individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail is required for this position. You must be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate across departments, and maintain accurate tracking systems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of logistics experience on large contracts with OCONUS experience. You must possess a US Secret Clearance or AUS PV Clearance and be a US or Australian Citizen.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Maintains documentation to record all issues, receipts, transfers, and disposals of property.

* Ensures material and equipment are catalogued to a standard nomenclature in IDMS.

* Conducts weekly stock reviews to ensure accuracy of inventory records.

* Creates and maintains a Critical Spares Inventory of parts essential to mission activities.

Requirements:

* Must be a US or Australian Citizen

* Must Possess a US Secret Clearance or AUS PV Clearance.

* Must have a minimum of 5 years of logistics experience on large contract with OCONUS experience.

* Strong organizational and logistical skills.

* Knowledge of supply chain processes and related software.

* Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

* Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

This role will be located in Alice Springs and requires onsite presence 100% of the time.
