This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team and contribute to the success of our Aerospace organization based in Williamtown, NSW. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance services and possess a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures or equivalent qualification.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing production, maintenance, and repair activities on aircraft structures, including sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials, and components. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and meet regulatory requirements.

About This Opportunity
\
* Production, Maintenance and Repair: Perform production, maintenance and repair activities on aircraft structures, including sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials, and components.
* Aviation Environment: Work in an aviation environment at a standard to meet all regulatory and airworthiness requirements.
* Team Leadership: Be responsible to the Team Leader to carry out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance.
* Maintenance Documentation: Ensure maintenance and technical documentation or data used during maintenance is authorized for use and is compliant.
* Record Keeping: Correctly and promptly record details of work performed on the correct documents, and if required, to gain certification of the performance of such work in the required timeframes.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that all appropriate documentation for engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments are incorporated as directed.
* Reporting: Report to the Team Leader all defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors, and unserviceability’s as they arise.
* Maintenance Level: Carry out maintenance only to the delegated and authorized level.
* Quality Control: Initiate quality, non-conformance, or defect reporting relating to maintenance tasks as directed.

About You
\
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures: Possess a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures or equivalent qualification.
* Australian Citizenship: Be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance.
* Experience or Interest: Have experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Aircraft.
* Qualifications: Hold a Military or Civil Aviation Maintenance Licence (highly desirable).
* Knowledge: Possess an understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations, processes, and procedures (highly desirable).
* Communication Skills: Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Teamwork: The ability to work within a fast-paced and strong team environment.
