We are seeking an Estimator to join our High Voltage Field Service team based in Hexham. As a key member of our HV Electrical Field Service team you will be integral in keeping pulse on the industry and providing solutions to ensure we remain competitive in all areas of electrical field services tenders and project solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare budgets and tenders, liaise with customers, assist with pre-engineering.
Perform and coordinate sales follow-ups and participate in progress reviews.
Develop customer relationships to drive tender/estimate success rates.
Maintain high quality and accuracy of tenders while ensuring compliance to budgets, contracts, standards and legislation.
What we are looking for from you
Electrical trade or Engineering qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role or relevant skills.
Experience with HV/LV electrical plant, equipment and systems.
A customer-oriented approach with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Experience in electrical estimating and the preparation of tenders – advantageous.
Advanced computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
Advanced organisation and time management skills.
Project management qualifications – advantageous.
