An opportunity has opened at our Kingsgrove Branch to join our friendly team in a maternity relief role for a full-time Accounts Payable Officer.

Description of Position
As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for providing data entry, clerical, and administrative support in order to ensure the efficient and effective operations across all businesses. You will need to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Key duties (not limited to):
* Daily end-to-end accounts payable process, including processing supplier invoices, purchase orders, and assist preparing the payment runs
* Review and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policies
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and expense records
* Reconcile supplier statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies
* Respond to vendor and employee queries in a professional and timely manner
* Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, tax regulations, and financial procedure
* Assist with month end duties
Abilities and talents recommended for job success:
* Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Sound numeracy aptitude and skills
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* High attention to detail
* Problem solving skills and numerical ability
* Ability to prioritise workload to meet specific deadlines
Desirable Criteria
* Experience using simPRO and Quick Books
* Working within the Building & Construction industry
