We are seeking a motivated Trainee Construction Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, timely, and profitable residential repair projects across Queensland.
This role is ideal for a proven Building Supervisor or emerging construction leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be mentored by our State Construction Manager and gain exposure to construction management within a national organisation, working closely with all major residential insurers across Australia.
About the Role
You'll ensure construction activities meet industry standards, client expectations and internal KPIs. This hands‑on role includes supporting Supervisors, assisting with escalations, monitoring performance, and helping drive continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering quality repair outcomes and meeting client KPIs
* Support Supervisors with scheduling, audits, risk monitoring and on‑site escalations
* Ensure compliance with building codes, WHS requirements and Australian Standards
* Interpret plans, engineering drawings and technical reports
* Build strong relationships with clients, trades and internal teams
* Contribute to reporting, performance analysis and training initiatives
* Support client meetings, SLA adherence and customer satisfaction outcomes
Skills & Experience
* Degree (or currently studying) in Construction Management, or equivalent experience
* Strong communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams
* High attention to quality, safety and continuous improvement
* Willingness to learn, lead and grow within the organisation
