Electrical Sales Professional Role
This exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Sales Professional to join a well-established electrical construction company with a strong presence across NSW and the ACT.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s project pipeline, developing key industry relationships, and securing major electrical construction projects ranging from $500K to $8 million.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive business growth across NSW and ACT, covering metro and regional areas
* Identify, qualify and secure new project opportunities within the electrical construction sector
* Manage the full sales cycle including tenders, bids, negotiation and project acquisition
* Build and strengthen relationships with builders, contractors, consultants, estimators, developers and other key stakeholders
* Introduce new leads into the business and follow up proactively to convert opportunities
* Represent the brand professionally at industry events, networking functions and stakeholder meetings
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to improve processes, performance and project outcomes
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team cohesion and development
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a BDM or Sales role within construction, electrical contracting, or a closely related technical sector
* Strong understanding of project bidding, tendering and contract negotiation
* Demonstrated track record in meeting sales targets and winning major projects
* Ability to build long-term relationships across the construction ecosystem
* Confident communicator with solid commercial acumen
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
