The Role We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to support our finance team in Western Sydney.
This is a key individual contributor role (not team leader), providing hands on accounting support across retail and commercial property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities Manage ad hoc property related projects delegated by Head of Finance Support MRI/MYOB users; be the go to person for property systems Review monthly I&E reports prepared by Centre Managers Liaise with Finance and Retail teams on budgets and forecasts Investigate budget vs. actual variances, providing analysis and commentary Month end balance sheet reconciliations for major retail entities Process AusPost credit card journals and promotional sweeps Generate and review MYOB files and prepare accrual journals (to be implemented) Support daily receipting and other accounting tasks as required Skills & Experience Proven experience in Property Accounting (retail or commercial) Strong reconciliation skills MRI experience preferred, but experience with JDE, Yardi, or similar property systems considered Experience reviewing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and process focused mindset Apply now Take your property accounting career to the next level.
