The Role
Monday to Friday (Some weekend work required) | Fulltime permanent position
Drive day-to-day operations with a continued focus on gaining efficiencies to improve our high service standards.
Responsibility for the continued focus on the operations to gain efficiencies to improve high service standards to the customer base or improvement on operational KPI's or financial results.
Work closely with all departments to implement solutions improving business performance.
Invest time into staff to shape personal and operational performance in-line with our People Strategy
Lead and assist your team with delivering a high level of service to our customers and agents.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Transport Management / Operations Management position leading a team of >30.
Experience in road transport, express or general transport experience is critical with knowledge in Linehaul, PUD and warehouse staffing advantageous.
Strong ability to effectively drive change, move strategically and set direction to improve commercial outcomes
Highly developed communication skills coupled with a strong emotional intelligence
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team while building a high performing/resilient and supportive team culture
A forklift licence and/or HR licence is highly regarded
