Who are we?
We are a team orientated construction company based in the western suburbs of Sydney, focusing on commercial upgrades, housing renovations, Tiny Homes and maintenance projects.
Renobuild Projects is looking for a full-time skilled Joinery Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machining tools and equipment to produce Joinery cabinetry. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Machining Operations:
- Operate CNC and manual milling machines.
- Operate Edgebanding machine
- Set up and adjust machine tools to achieve desired tolerances and finishes.
1. Plan Reading:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machining requirements and processes.
1. Quality Control:
- Conduct inspections of machinery for a quality output.
- Identify and resolve any quality issues, making necessary adjustments to tools and processes.
1. Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols.
1. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of machining processes, production quantities, and quality inspections.
- Assist in the development of process documentation and standard operating procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 years of experience in a machining role, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in operating CNC machines and manual machining tools.
* Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tools.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
