Job Description
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager to lead, plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of sales operations across NSW. Reporting to the NSW General Manager, this role is responsible for implementing strategic sales initiatives to achieve annual growth and profitability targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals, objectives and policies.
The role has oversight of four globally recognised brands – SANY, Atlas Copco, Ditch Witch and Dynapac.
What You’ll Do
* Sponsor a culture of unison within the branch, enforcing management accountability and ensuring effective leadership.
* Prepare operating forecasts to achieve KPIs.
* Undertake resource planning to support sales activity and growth.
* Achieve revenue and profitability targets as set by the GM.
* Maximise returns from the top five industry sector accounts.
* Prepare business plans for each industry sector.
* Execute action plans to penetrate targeted businesses effectively
* Establish, implement and communicate standard operating procedures.
* Manage budget forecasts in line with National Account strategies
* Present plans, budgets and forecasts to the General Manager.
* Report on KPI performance and prepare weekly updates to the State General Manager.
* Monitor commercial performance in line with budget and KPIs.
* Monitor and measure interactions with the State GM, Product Managers, DTMs and Territory Managers.

* Proven ability to manage and motivate personnel, with a strong customer service focus.
* Excellent people management, communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to understand and interpret financial statements with a strong commercial background.
* Demonstrated success growing a business and being accountable for performance target achievements.
* Proven ability in strategic planning and marketing initiatives.
