Therapy Assistant Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a casual Therapy Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant. They will be responsible for providing mobility and exercise programs to our Residents under the direction of the Physiotherapist and recreational and other Therapeutic activity programs to our Residents under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
Key responsibilities will include participating in the organisation and planning of Therapy programs, delivering a range of Therapy-based activity programs as directed, and completing accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines.
As part of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and services to our Residents. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements of the role include holding a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent, having strong organisational and time management skills, and being able to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.
