Weir Minerals Australia Ltd, a member of the Weir Group PLC, is the market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of slurry pumps and allied minerals processing equipment to the mining industry, both within Australia and throughout the world.
Vacancies currently exist for Service Engineers to join our Aftermarket Field Services teams servicing our Perth sites. Activities can include Project roles up to 4 weeks in duration, Service Assignments up to 2 weeks and Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) rosters per customer cycles.
You will lead all project requirements, plan maintenance activities and lead resource teams on site to complete planned maintenance, fault analysis, breakdown maintenance whilst introducing improvement plans to maximize equipment availability and reliability. The roles are autonomous and remote therefore strong technical analysis and decision making skills are appropriate.
To be successful in these positions you will have:
- Mechanical Trade and Site Supervisory Experience to provide Maintenance and Fault Analysis to Weir Minerals Equipment
- Ability to Project Manage and meet demanding milestones safely and timely along with innovative solutions for customer equipment
- Skills to attend and be active in site meetings and produce detailed and concise Technical Reports
- Equipment Product Skills at a minimum five (5) year experience in Crusher maintenance, repairs and mechanical and electrical fault finding with supplementary skills on any of GEHO, HPGR, Warman Pumps and/or other Weir products in a Service & Maintenance environment
- Skills to build Customer Relationships through strong communication, identifying opportunities and demonstrating values to embed Weir into customer's maintenance strategies
- Ability to Collaborate actively with all other parts of the Weir organization to achieve customer outcomes
