Shop Assistant – Martins Bakery Ballina

Pay Rate: $33.19/hour base rate (ages 20+)
Shifts:
Trading hours 6am - 6pm Monday to Saturday
Shifts available: 3-4 shifts/week
Love a fast-paced start to your day surrounded by the smell of fresh coffee and warm pastries? We’re looking for an energetic Shop Assistant to join our bakery crew for 2-3 shifts per week!
What You’ll Be Doing
* Serving customers with a smile and providing great customer service
* Operating the register and handling payments accurately
* Packing and presenting fresh bread, pastries, and pies
* Keeping the shop area clean, stocked, and welcoming
* Assisting with coffee orders or sandwich prep as needed
About You
* You’re punctual, reliable, and enjoy being part of a fast-paced team
* You bring a positive attitude and enjoy chatting with regular customers
* You can work efficiently during busy periods
* Previous retail, bakery, or café experience is an advantage (but not essential — we’ll train the right person)
